Dyno returned in the spring of 1967 with the Eliminator II. Though similar in appearance to his 1966 Comet, the new car featured a number of refinements, including a lighter body, and a revised roll cage. The Hilborn injection was replaced mid-season with a GMC 6-71 blower. In 1967 Don was voted by track owners as their number one draw. This would also be his third of four years in row in which Don was voted driver of the year.
