1968 - 1968 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet SS/EA
Ford and Mercury’s race programs were merged in 1968 and Don was asked to drive a new Cobra Jet Mustang at the NHRA Winternationals. It was a one race deal for Don which saw him make it to the 2nd round of class eliminations. Arrangements were made to sell the Mustang to west coast racer, Tom Safford, a week before the Winternationals.
