1973-1974 - 1973 Ford Pinto Pro Stock
Dyno’s final Pinto was another car built by M&S. The Pinto ran just one national event under the Dyno Don name and that was the 1974 NHRA Winternationals where it was driven by Ken Dondero. Due in large to changing NHRA weight breaks, the Pinto only ran the one race before being replaced by Don’s first Mustang II. At the Winternationals Ken qualified the Pinto fourth with an 8.985 at 152.02 mph but fell in the second to a Scott Shafiroff holeshot.
